● Beijing Shanghai High Speed Train

Railway Stations: Beijing South (北京南站) - Shanghai Hongqiao/Shanghai Station (上海虹桥站/上海站)

Distance: 1,318 km/819 miles

Duration: 4 hours 18 minutes ~ 6 hours 24 minutes

After imperial culture and history exploration in the iconic sites of Beijing, boarding the newest Fuxing Train at the highest speed of 350km/h is a pretty cool and popular way to travel to Shanghai, a world class modern city with mix of East and West culture. There are over 40 high speed trains running from Beijing to Shanghai from about 6:40am to 21:30pm, including nearly 40 G trains (11 Fuxing trains leaving on hour) and 3 D bullet trains. So is the opposite route. The whole train journey takes just 4.5 ~ 6.5 hours, largely shortened from the conventional 15 or 19 hours to less than half a day and passes by Jinan and Nanjing. After completing your Shanghai tour, you can transfer to Hangzhou, Suzhou, Mt. Huangshan, Nanjing and other destinations from Shanghai within hours by short-distance high speed trains. (The 3 regular D trains depart and arrive at Shanghai Railway Station while others all arranged at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station.)

Beijing Shanghai High Speed Fuxing Trains

The Beijing Shanghai High Speed Railway has introduced the newest and most advanced Fuxing Trains, which are designed at the highest speed of 400km/h and runs at a normal speed of 350km/h. The fastest Fuxing train only needs 4 hours 18 minutes to travel between Beijing and Shanghai. If you would like to experience superb facilities and fast speed of China Fuxing Trains, there are 15 pairs of Fuxing Trains available on the route. From Beijing to Shanghai, you can choose from 15 G trains (G1, G3, G5, G7…) that run every hour on the hour between 07:00 and 19:00. Generally the train trip takes about 4.5 hours. Beijing Xian High Speed Train

Railway Stations: Beijing West (北京西站) - Xian North (西安北站)

Distance: 1,216 km/755.6 miles

Duration: 4 hours 20 minutes ~ 6 hours 2 minutes

Both Beijing and Xian are great ancient Chinese capitals with abundant cultural and historical heritages, such as Great Wall, Forbidden City and Terracotta Warriors. Today, a half day high speed train travel can easily fulfill your dream tour of the two popular destinations in one trip. It is much cheaper and more convenient than taking a flight. Every day, Beijing sends nearly 20 high speed trains (all are G trains) from Beijing to Xian, ranging from 06:20am to 18:55pm. Compared to the previous 13 ~21 hours of normal K trains, currently, travelers only need 4.5 ~ 6 hours to get to Xian. Among all trains, G87 (14:00-18:20) goes the shortest hours and G653 (07:46-13:48) runs the longest duration. Departing from Beijing, tourists may drop by Shaolin Temple in Zhengzhou, Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang and Mount Huashan before reaching Xian, or extend extra 3~4 hours’ bullet trip to Home of Panda - Chengdu via Xian Chengdu High Speed Railway, less than 3 hours to Lanzhou to follow the ancient Silk Road in northwest China.

● Beijing Chengdu High Speed Train

Railway Stations: Beijing West (北京西站) - Chengdu East (成都东站)

Distance: 1,874 km/1,164 miles

Duration: 7 hours 48 minutes ~ 10 hours 4 minutes

Duration: 8 hours ~ 10 hours 36 minutes

As one of the longest high speed rail in the world, the Beijing Guangzhou High Speed Railway connects capital Beijing and home of Chinatown - Popular straightforward. Starting from Beijing, the trains goes from north to south China via Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and ultimately gets to Guangdong Province. There are 5 regular high speed trains running from Beijing to Guangzhou every day from 07:27am to 13:07pm. G79 (10:00-18:01) is the fastest train that takes merely 8 hours. G65 and G68 are the newest Fuxing trains on this rail route. After arrival, you can view fancy city skylines, economic vitality and immigration culture of Guangzhou. Later you can transfer to Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Guilin, Guiyang, Nanning and other destinations in Southern China, or just fly back home from Guangzhou.
 

● Beijing Hong Kong High Speed Train

Distance: 2,440 km/1,516 miles

Duration: about 9 hours

Passing through various landscape of the heartland of China, a daytime high speed train connects Hong Kong and Beijing, two international mega-cities, much closer and easier in the most up-to-date way. The newly connected Beijing Hong Kong High Speed Railway has been put into use in the autumn of 2018, on the extension line of Beijing Guangzhou High Speed Railway. Now, travelers can get to Hong Kong from Beijing within 9 hours via Guangzhou and Shenzhen without complicated transfer and custom procedures. And it takes only 14 minutes to get to Hong Kong by Shenzhen Futian and less than 1 hour from Guangzhou to Hong Kong. The new rail line also offers convenient transfer from Hong Kong to Guilin, Guiyang, Kunming and Nanning and lots of other cities in mainland China.
 

Beijing Harbin High Speed Train

Railway Stations: Beijing South (北京南站) - Harbin West Station (哈尔滨西站)

Distance: 1,331 km/827 miles

Duration: about 7 hours

Beijing Tianjin High Speed Train

Railway Stations: Beijing South (北京南站) - Tianjin South/ Tianjin Station (天津南站/天津站)

Distance: 120 km/75 miles

Duration: 31 minutes ~ 59 minutes

The 120km-long Beijing Tianjin Intercity Railway is the first high speed railway of China, with a running speed of 350km/h. Whether you plan to visit Tianjin for travel, business or return home, there are more than 130 pairs of C trains available, including 20 pairs of Fuxing trains. Compared to previous 2 hours’ train travel and complicate transfer, currently, passengers now can get to Tianjin from Beijing within half an hour. The trains are arranged from 07:00am to 22:10pm every day, and all of them depart from Beijing South, most arrives at Tianjin South Railway Station and a few stop at Tianjin Railway Station.
